Annual Retreat

The 2020 Starr Cancer Consortium Retreat scheduled for April 20-21 at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory was cancelled.

The next Retreat will be held on May 3-4, 2021. It will be hosted by Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory as either an in-person event or a fully virtual meeting.
The Starr Cancer Consortium Retreat is a venue for presentation and discussion of SCC-funded projects.  The next Retreat will be hosted by Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory on May 3-4, 2021.  

Each SCC funded project's PI and Co-PI(s) are required to attend the annual Starr Cancer Consortium Retreat.  All other attendees are by invitation only.


Attendance is by invitation only.

The SCC will provide housing for Retreat attendees for one night only. Attendees should indicate on the registration form if they require overnight housing.  The program runs late the first day. Participants not local to Cold Spring Harbor are strongly recommended to register for housing.  (Please note, attendees from CSHL will not be provided with overnight housing.)

11th and 12th grant competition projects are required to give platform presentations.

13th grant competition projects are required to give posters.

All attendees are encouraged to present a poster of their SCC-funded work.

Information on travel options to CSHL are available here.

Retreat attendees should make their own travel arrangements. Attendees will be reimbursed for economy airfare, train fare, and reasonable ground transportation travel costs.

Attendees traveling from New York City should take the Long Island Rail Road from Penn Station to Syosset Station.  Shuttle service between Syosset Station and CSHL will be provided.

Note: Available parking is limited at CSHL.
